...some of my old film stuff. I know I have been "back-stabbing" my Nikon LS40 scanner on these forums but I still love it. It is reasonably accurate in most cases and I love it when it is but truly hate it when it is expected to perform well but it won't , well, it's acting like a BMW motorbike lol.
Anyway here it is, these were taken back in 2003 when I still owned 15 Nikkor lenses and were shot on an F4 and on a Velvia 100F. These images came from one roll of Velvia 100F and there were no post processing stuff (no white balancing on Nikon Scan 4 & CS2) and no cropping. It is best to turn off auto exposure on the scanner. What you see here is "almost" exactly the same on the original E6 film, maybe 2-4% quality loss in terms of colour accuracy, not bad really.
Last spring, my cat Taz was going bonkers in the window so I went out to see what was driving her crazy, found a baby robin that fell out of its nest chirping madly for its parents.
Just playing around with my gear at the moment. This is a detail shot of my D80 grip. I shot it with my D80 i like it... 95mm F2.8 1/60 pop-up flash to trigger my sb800 which i held in my left hand...
