Some truly great work here. It is very inspiring (and a little discouraging). I must shoot more! I must learn more! I should probably post more and look for more feedback. I should probably take some more classes and read some more books, too.
Until all that happens I think this is my favorite landscape this year.
Inspiring work here! I took this shot at the Sand Dunes National Park after a snowfall. It gave such a different look to the dunes and we hung around for sunset. This is quickly becoming my favorite of 2006. I like the coolness of the snow contrasting with the warmth of the sunset.
It's hard to pick just one - not because they are all so great (they're not!), but because I like them for all different reasons. I've narrowed it down to two, though.
A small vine hit by the warm setting sun. If I could shoot this again, I would try for more dof.
It really is tough to decide on one, so here are a couple of mine. The first is an HDR shot of sunrise and approaching storm. Second one was actually a little later than summer, Thanksgiving sunrise 06.
To my regret I've had little time to post much on this forum this year, but I do love the annual "favourite shot thread" which highlights some of the amazing talents you guys have.
