There are some truly stunning photos posted here. For people like me who are still learning, I would love to see focal length, shutter speed, aperture and whether the image was an HDR merge or not. Here are two of my favorites from 2006. Haleakala crater on Maui and a shot of some lava rocks by the shore.
Edit: Following my own advice. Both shots taken with the D2X and Sigma 18-50 lens. Pic one was about 20mm at f-11 and 1/30 secone. Pic #2 was about a four second exposure, 20mm and f8 or so.

Wow Greg those are great. The first one looks like art work almost & the second one look like something out of the movie Return of The Kings, Land of Mordor. Yah I'd like to see more of the lens used & other attributes too.
Ernst, I really like how you can take something so simple and make it into a beautiful piece of art. You give me inspiration to look at every day scenes in a different light.
I don't post too much, mostly just trying to learn a little from all the great talent I find here. Thank you and all the rest of the members here for sharing your talent.
