At 66 pages, I have no idea what part of the forum this thread is on anymore, so just in case it's not Page 1, here you go. I would have to agree with everything that's been said about the quality of the images and photographer.
Jim, do you spend any time shooting in the Antelope Valley here in southern California? I know there's a lot of various types of plane stuff, to say the least, out at Edwards AFB and all of its supporters.
Thanks! Some of those helicopter images were captured around Pitt Meadows and out around Bamfield on Vancouver Island. Beautiful country you have there!
Man Oh Man! Those are fantastic. The second is just perfect with the clouds. I hope to have an opportunity like that some day. I enjoyed your site, especially the residential architecture.
Residential and commercial architecture is a big market for me, and I enjoy it. The work is a bit tedious at times, an interior perspective can take up to 3 hours to compose, light and shoot, but the results are very satisfying. It's a market that few people do well so the competition is a little thinner and rates are substantial for top shooters.

Maybe next year I'll come and shoot JAX with you. There have been some rumblings of an assignment for me down there. I'm going to be in Pensacola in a couple of months.

That sounds great! Let me know when you're in Pensacola and I'll be there to buy you lunch. I'll be back home in Dallas in early may where I'm hoping to get an internship with Southwest and then shortly there after I'm looking to buy a bit of multi time so I can go to work for comair! If you know anyone selling blocks of time let me know please.
Hey Jim! If you're going to Pensacola, let me know when also. That's only a couple of hours away if I drive and I'd love to meet up with you also if I get the chance. I'll let esa17 buy me lunch also!
Sometime in March I'm working an arrangement with the base here to take our CAP cadets on a "field trip" to visit the F22s and it looks like getting a photo pass won't be a big issue. I really want to make sure we get the best quality photos for the cadets so I'd like to pick your brain for your planning and setup ideas. Heck, if you're in the area, you're certainly welcome to join us! It'd give me a chance to learn from the master himself!
Keep me posted on your plans and what events are taking place, love to join you if I'm anywhere close. Where are you going to be? How can I help you prep wise? Tell me how close you'll be and what the AF has planned for you and I'll see if I can help you prepare for the adventure.
It is with no small amount of pride I present to you the first published image taken by my Granddaughter Gracie. We went flying yesterday and Gracie asked if she could bring her camera to shoot some aerials. This was her first time up with a camera. I didn't coach her at all, she just composed and shot what caught her eye. She's a born pilot and, it appears, photographer. Gracie girl is 10 and her Papa is proud!!

My Buddy Butch Smith bought a Legend Cub shortly after I took delivery on mine. He's the subject of Gracie's composition. Earlier in the flight Butch was the photoship and caught a very rare shot of Gracie and I.

Thanks! I've been doing it for over two decades and it's as big a kick today as the very first one. If you get a chance, just be careful and know and trust everyone involved.
Come to think of it Gracie might just be the youngest air to air photographer in history, what do ya think?!
Well, technically i suppose ive done it, some blurry shots out of an airliner window meeting traffic but yours is another cup of tea! Its a bit expensive to finance it just for hobby purposes though I am considering flight training myself soon and hopefully chances will arise then.
my airliner shots are in my www link if u care to take a look some Fairford and military stuff in there too.
