I just got my lights a couple of weeks ago, after getting frustrated with both of them I turned one off and I was pleasantly surprised. Now if I could just do that again.
After reading through a bunch of these, I felt inclined to share some recent one-light shots. One light is pretty much all I do, and occasionally a reflector.

I can't believe this thread is still going. I finally broke down and ordered my strobe, umbrella, reflector and softbox. I REALLY want to thank everyone for posting and encourage everyone to still do so. This way, in a couple of weeks, maybe I'll have the nerve to post one of my own.
Ok, My first attempt... It looksa a litte washed on photobucket (conversion to html) but here it goes. AB400 w/ umbrella camera right, 32" gold reflector camerra left. trying to keep a 3y/o in one place for longer than 1 sec proved almost impossible.

I have enjoyed this thread for some time and it needs to be bumped back up. This is my first photo post in this forum, not up to the class of the rest of you but here goes nothing. Shot with a 580 flash bounced off the ceilings. http://www.pbase.com/harrydavid/image/63654507.jpg
