Don't have a setup per sey, but these were lite with Canon 550
Here are some senior work I did earlier, with a 550 and Photoflex Mini SB. 1 light work. Nothing real complicated in using one light outside.. These were all shot at ISO100, using a MkII and Canon 550

This was shot inside the studio with the same setup. White foamcore camera right helped get fill.
Pfiltz, great one light setups. I liked the 3 lake pics. What all did you do in PP to give them that (bump ) look ? Great set of photos.I learn more everyday here.
Dupe the layer, add a "soft blend" to it. Change the opacity to taste. Maybe even create a mask on that layer, to brush back in what you want If any, then flatten.
Here is another annoying self portrait for a one light setup.
Canon 30D with a Nikon SB-24 with a silver umbrella on the camera left.
1st one is just the flash, 2nd one has a foam core on the camera right.
here is my one light set-up (well two really, one light for the subjects and one light for the background) Nothing more than two 100 ws lights bounced into cheap umbrellas. It was my first try with umbrellas and it seemed to work ok for me.
