I've got some L zooms, but the primes are the best in my opinion. Their all around flexibility and low light prowess is great. I rarely shoot with my 17-40 f4L or my 70-200mm f2.8 IS L anymore. On a 20D I'd go with the following:
24mm f1.4L (or 35mm f1.4L on FF)
50mm f1.4
85mm f1.8
70-200mm f2.8 IS L
I'm an L guy though so really what I'd go for would be:
17-40 f4L for wide stuff
24mm or 35mm f1.4L
135mm f2L
70-200mm f2.8 IS L
Sorry if this is a little OT. A lot of you suggested both a 70-200mm and the 135mm f2L. For any that have this combo: do you find that you still use both equally? And, under what circumstances do you typically choose one or the other?
