I would like to know where someone can get that jacket as well! This thread is great! Seeing everyone pics of others...really gets you wondering how much people invest in equipment...and how many of those get paid versus doing it because they love it.

Are you guys referring to the windbreaker that ... err.. cute guy was wearing? He was working for Canon so it might be something they only give to employees. Do you really want to wear a Canon logo on your chest?

Although I must admit that it was why I took his picture ("pls don't block that logo, move your hand down, look up, no right, step over here, chin up, oh you have to work.. sorry... smile")

Re: the "Canon with Kodak grip" and subsequent comments: Bahahaha! I bought my D2000 last year, with 9200 actuations on it...

Why? Because the 10D is a toy compared to it...and those were the choices for me at the time. 10k actuations later, happy happy, I have 2x20D's...and their high-ISO performance rocks, but, their build quality is just OK.

The D2000 went to over 124 rock shows, mainly with pits, into the pits, and still works like a charm. Fun fun! The D2000/DCS520 has the same build as the 1N, and that camera did the "pro thing" for quite some time. The electronics have issues with high-ISO (it simply doesn't work) but the focus speed is way faster than a 20D, and the camera does everything faster than a 20D except coldboot.

I'm gonna treat the 20D's verrrry carefully, but, they ain't no 1-series machine fo sho. I love the "very old" comment...furthering my theory that all current cameras are disposable, and, have a 5yr life. Already people are talking like the 1D is a "classic" not a current cam, yet, most PJ's I know are using them like nuts.

The D2000 worked me into the 20D's+4 more lenses, now I'm rollin', and hopefully, in a year, I'll get some "obsolete" 1D2's from y'all

G. Support Local Music

p.s. I'll get someone to take a pic of me taking pics at a show, only way to fly.

Taken at the London premiere of "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory"

This press photog was in a hurry to send his shots to press!

Wonder if anyone could help me identify this babe? Don't often see a media photog as lovely as this I think that's a 24-70L she's handling.

Here's a shot I took before I actually bought my 20D. Taken with store's demo 20D of my friend taking a picture of me with the Digital Rebel taking a picture of him with the 20D!

I believe that picture has already been posted in this thread, if I remember correctly. And if not this thread, somewhere here on FM I am sure.

A couple more FMer sightings from the Infineon race this past weekend:

Jimmy Sykes (vwpilot)

Todd Corzett (tcorzett)
