Ordered from B&H a month ago; shipped yesterday. (although their website still shows out of stock, so maybe they didn't get enough in for all pre-orders)

Anyone get one yet?
I ordered the baseplate direct from Smallrig some weeks ago, no shipping yet for me.
I ordered one a couple of days ago from Amazon/Smallrig. It's showing arriving 7/27 - 7/30. New orders would ship later per the Amazon site. Perhaps still catching up?

It arrived. As usual with Smallrig, it's nicely made and fits well.
Looks nice, Mike. Can you show one more picture from the grip side? Are you happy with how it mates up to the grip? Does your pinky feel comfortable there?

It sticks out a little bit around the bottom of the grip, so there's a slight ridge there. But it feels fine in the hand.
Their a7Rv plate matches the outer profile of the camera's grip more exactly, so no ridge. Not sure why they needed it to be different on this body. Could be because the little hinged section to clear the battery door is longer.

Thanks, Mike. Yes, I can see the difference compared to my A7RV plate. I am obsessive enough that this may bother me.

I know what you mean. If they weren't the only game in town at the moment for the mk6, I might be tempted to switch. Leofoto seems to only have an l-plate, and I'm not paying the RRS tax any more, even if they come out with one, so it'll probably have to do.
What’s the wrist strap, Mike? Do Smallrig make one which attaches to the camera at the top and their baseplate at the bottom? I’ve wanted one like that for ages — a hand-strap rather than a wrist-strap — but never found one for Sony.
