Well, A7R5 released in 2022 and even then, it was an upgrade from A7R4 with a same sensor while re-used it for A7CR. I wouldn't be surprised by the current price.

For me, (YMMV), the A7RV remains the best FF landscape camera on the market, only bettered by the VI.

I'd buy one for $1900. as much as I love my A7cII, I want 61mp for more cropability when I travel.

It's got to be slamming the Sony keep older models in the line mode. I don't see anyone buying "new" A7Rivs or A7Rvs.

Same story with the RX10 IV, saw some pretty good, low, used prices.
Now, if only Sony could update their GM lenses sooner

or simply, fill in the blanks.. 28/1.4 GM, 40/1.4 GM, 75/1.4 GM..
