p.4 #1 · What's in the future for the Sony A7Cr II?

I have never looked at Sony since I sold their first A7 what ten years ago with its disastrous menu system.
All the A7CR talk has me looking, but still worry about the menu disaster I experienced.
I have the (yes much more expensive) Leica EV1 since I like EVF shooting.
The A7CR has a dismal EVF even if 60MP. That is my main reason for not getting a Sony again plus the menu system. I do not want a camera with a lump on top even if it has a 9.44 EVF.
For those of you who also shoot Leica, kindly give main reasons you like the A7CR for mainly shooting with M lenses. Thanks. Sorry if this has been covered a million times. ...Show more →
I believe @Fred Miranda has often used manual M lenses on the A7CR with a Techart Pro adapter to give autofocus and has found it quite satisfactory.

It works great with or without the Techart adapter. Since mine has the Kolari thin-sensor modification, I can shoot all my Leica M lenses without corner degradation or sensor-induced field curvature. The smaller EVF is a non-issue for me...I value the Sony's size, and I knew the finder was the main compromise going in. In practice, the A7CR's 0.70x magnification feels virtually identical to the 0.73x view of the Visoflex 2 on an M body.
