p.4 #1 · Megadap M2RF – the first-ever Leica M to Canon RF Autofocus Adapter!
I received the Megadap adapter today, along with an M42-to-Leica M mechanical adapter. After installing the Leica adapter to my lens and mounting that combo to the Megadap adapter on the camera I verified that in fact infinity focus is easily obtainable with the Zeiss Biotar 75/1.5. Took about 5 minutes to get the Megadap adapter configured to report the correct information to the camera. I set the four selectable aperture settings to f/1.4 (little lie there as the lens only goes to f/1.5), f/1.8, f/2.0 and f/2.8. I don't ever think I would shoot the lens at narrower aperture than f/2.8, but should I decide to do so I could always set up a second lens option with the same lens description and set the aperture values starting at f/4.0
So far, so good.
