50mm 1.2 followed by 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 lenses. But i recently acquired some F mount primes and am starting to fall in love with 85mm 1.4G lens (had 85 1.2 lens before but never really wowed me as much)

Currently, I would say the first lens in my bag would be my 24-70mm f2.8S for it's versatility. The second lens in my bag would my 105 f1.4E (adapted). I love the way it renders and I can always find a use for it in any situation even if it's not being used primarily for portraits.

Since I shoot older manual Nikon lenses on Sony and Fuji cameras, the two that have been in my bag for the longest time are the 105mm 1.8 AIS and the 55mm 3.5 micro AI.

I agree with the 50/1.8 as my go-to lens. Pleny sharp, bright, nice color and contrast, great IR performance...could be smaller but it's a nice fit on my Z5 and Z7ll. Too bad all the compact or near pancake Z lenses have such poor IQ at least according to the reviews I have seen. For versatility it's the Z 24-120 f4 S.

Interesting. Most of the reviews I’ve read say the opposite, and in my own experience I’m constantly surprised at how good those compact primes are — like the 40mm f/2.
