p.1 #11 · What’s your ‘never-leaving-the-bag’ Nikon lens?
I don’t have one. I prefer mixing things up and take whatever inspires me on that day or that trip.
Only exception is when I’m flying somewhere (i.e. weight-limited) and I need a flexible kit to cover a wide variety of scenes. Then I’ll very likely bring either the 24-200mm or 24-70mm f4. A 24-120mm would work just as well..

I love the 24-70 F4. Just love the images it makes. I use it for work and have countless thousands and thousands of shots with it. I have the 24-120 for personal use. I like it, but not more at equal focal lengths. I did get use to the twist to open after a couple years. Makes for a great travel lens.

Mine would either be the Nikon 35 1.2 or the Voigtlander 50 1.0. They never leave my everyday carry bag. I love them both. If I had to pick one it would be the 35 because of autofocus, but it would be a tough choice.

Z 40mm f/2
Very versatile and easy to carry lens. In actuality though, my Z 70-200mm 2.8S is the main reason I shoot with the Z9, so I suppose I have an appreciation for both lenses.
