I bought a Canon V1 on the buy/sell board last month, looking for something small and inexpensive to carry hiking. I'm not a video guy and wasn't expecting much, but this thing well outperformed my expectations. Nice little camera.

The Canon V1 does well at B&W also. Although these have minor editing, I was completely impressed with the B&W JPGs right out of the camera.

I honestly don't know what happened in the last two weeks. All I know is that I watched all 007 movies in order. My brain is scrambled. I remember being sick like a dog before, I don't recall ever basically having amnesia. If I didn't have a calendar I would not believe it.
