It's now Astrological winter - the winter solstice has arrived. This is a sunrise from this morning, technically a couple hours before the official solstice time, but close enough.
This may not be the epic sunrise we had a week ago when I went outside only to find my camera's battery had completely discharged, I hate it when that happens! By the time I got back in, replace the battery and went back out the colours were gone.
This morning's wasn't great, but at least the sun came out and provided some colour to what will be the shortest day of the year.
So let's get this winter's thread going.....
Merry Christmas to everyone and all the best for the New Year!
