When I signed up for this three-month, free C1/Leica subscription program with Apple Pay, It appeared as if there was an error in the $0 payment process and it didn't go through. However once I logged in to my C1 account I saw the subscription did in fact go through and was activated.
As you noted, the zero monthly charge for three months subscription will automatically convert to their "All in One" monthly subscription plan if I don't cancel beforehand.
Thank you for the information and warning. This is to me even more nasty. I checked in my Apple settings and there is no subscription.

Check your Capture One account/Plans & Services Management. Not Apple. I believe you had to create a C1 account ( if you didn't already have one) when you registered for this program.
