Cosina announced the official release date for the E-mount version of the lens today. It's 12/12. That will apply at least to Japan market, although other markets typically start around the same time.
I don't know if he will do a full review for it or e.g. extend the existing review on that same thread linked above with additional test results with the E-mount version. He has posted a couple of shots taken with the E-mount version afterwards as well.
I have not come across any other reviews or articles with samples taken with E-mount version yet. There may be some articles with samples to be posted by Map Camera and Fujiya Camera etc. starting soon. I'll post links here when I see some interesting ones.
Also in Japan it has been possible to pre-order both E-mount and Z-mount versions as soon as they were announced on 11/14.
Map Camera has a notice on their website for both versions saying that "Please note that this product may be delivered after the release date." They didn't have that note at the start of the pre-ordering phase and it's not very common to have this kind notice for lens pre-orders (haven't typically seen it for other CV releases either). I guess it means that initial launch volumes might be expected to be quite limited and they may expect that pre-orders could exceed available launch volumes.
I did get a reservation confirmation for my order from them yesterday and they wrote that they expect that my order can be fulfilled from the initial supplies (I had placed my pre-order just 13 minutes after initial announcement by Cosina). I hope to receive my E-mount copy in the morning of 12/12 in Japan.
Mine is shipping today from Map Camera and should arrive tomorrow morning. I'm taking a day off tomorrow and traveling to a hot spring resort (booked before I knew about the lens release timing), and the lens should arrive between 8-12 in the morning, but I have to leave home around 11:30. I hope it will be delivered just on time before I leave home. Will be an exciting battle against the clock Either way, I'm coming back on Saturday and should receive the lens then at the latest.

I just got an email notification that my Voigtlander FE 28mm f2 APO has shipped from the Australian distributor. Should arrive early next week.
Update: I'm wrong, the Australian distributor (Mainline) sent overnight express delivery, so will hopefully arrive today 🙂

Sincere apologies.
I must confess I had somewhat unkind thoughts when reading this, where's my email?
I had a little more than average stress today at work.
2 Bourbons into my self medicated recovery at home, there was a knock on my door.
I assume, as result of the bourbon, it took until my third check of the box to find the slim hood.
Yikes, $1149 - tough pill to swallow when they will be on the buy/sell forum for much less in 12 months. I feel like the E and Z mount versions just don't hold on to value as well as the M versions.
Same price as the M mount version. Not sure that’s a huge surprise.

I think given that it's a 28 APO, it will hold its value pretty well over time compared to the other CV lenses. At least for Sony, there just aren't that many 28mm prime options.
tsdevine- Yes sometimes the prices are the same but other times they are lower for E and Z mount. for example, the Voigtlander 28mm f/1.5 Nokton Asph Type I Matte M mount is $999 MSRP VS $799 for E-mount
Okay, I was just going off the 35 and 50 APO Lanthars where the E mount was the same or slightly more at release.

Yeah, appears APO's always have the same price. Wishful thinking on my part there might be a mirrorless discount on this one. I also really like my 28 Nokton so just can't bring myself to buy the APO yet... the hype might get to me though (-:
Just ordered a copy for Sony FE. It'll probably replace my 35 APO, as I find it spaces better in my current prime kit: 9 RL, 16 G, 28 APO, 50 APO, and 90 DN.
