This is a 16 shot pixel shift processed to yield approximately a 396 megapixel image. Reducing it to 1600x1200 seems almost a travesty .
Here is a 100% resolution crop of the image. If this is not acceptable to post this in the competition, please let me know and I'll remove it. (And if that then causes issues with this image being in the competition, I'll remove it.)

August was a veeeeery slow photography month for me but I had a nice evening at the cabin and got some shots at the end of the month that I found pleasing.

Camera body: Panasonic S1R
Lens: Leica SL 24-90
Aperture: f/8
Filters: none
Short note on PP: usual PS workflow (adaptive color, some minor slider tweaking)
Top vote (3p) + reason: RoamingScott -- I can't put my finger on what it is but there's something really pleasing about this image and I feel like it tells a story. The soft colors make it feel a bit "old" too.

Wow, great to see the participation up! I'm very pleasantly surprised and honored to receive the votes last month, thank you! I guess I should be exploring more dramatic post processing apart from my usual landscape shots! Will be back to post this month's entry soon.
