1. Your entry must have been photographed using alt or mirrorless lens or gear.
Canon DSLR using Canon EF mount lens is NOT alt.
Nikon DSLR using Nikon F mount lens is NOT alt.
Anything else IS alt, including all mirrorless systems.
2. Your entry must have been photographed during July 2025 for this event.
3. Your submission must be posted by 11:59 PM Eastern Daylight Time, 31st August 2025 to be eligible.
4. One entry per user per month.

Subject matter beats everything else, including gear.. The real question is if you would have unpacked and used your camera, would you have missed the image or would have it been even better?

I would have missed it... it was such a fleeting, ephemeral thing that passed.
...and beating the approaching thunder and lightning down off the mountain (with the family) was more important than any photo.
