I'm devastated at the loss of so much history, beauty, and nature from the North Rim fires. So glad to have been there a few times in recent years. Here's an image made from the trails in front of the Grand Canyon Lodge, sadly gone now.

Yes I was there at the right time, but I waited three hours watching three separate storm units merge into this one event. It slowly just got better and better. I didn't want to leave!
