Masterful as always. I really appreciate your ability to produce images that feel new from Grand Canyon, owing in no small part to the patience and insight to wait as you describe.
Beautiful photo! Been to the North Rim twice on camping trips.
The wife and I went to the South Rim Thursday through Friday. Got some night photos of the fires in the distance from Grandview Point.
What surprised me was the South Rim was nearly empty of people. There was no lines going through the entrance gate, and no Rangers to check either. We had breakfast at El Tovar and there were 2 other tables occupied besides ours. Driving back out there was maybe a half dozen cars at the entrance station. As for Rangers? I saw three in the 24 hours at the Canyon. One was getting dinner in Tusayan.
