But yes, I agree. If you compare the MTF chart of the new LLL "mystery lens" to that of the LLL 50mm f/1.5 Z21, there appears to be a noticeable improvement in the mid field and corners, resulting in more even performance across the frame. The sagittal and tangential lines also appear to track closer together, which suggests better correction of astigmatism.
