Iowa State Capital building yesterday with the EF 16-35mm f4L IS. Exposure bracketing of 5 images.

The location made me tempted to upgrade to something wider. 16mm was not able to capture everything I wanted. Not sure if the RF 14-35mm RF would have cut it or if I need to look at something more like 12mm.

Yes, I hold on to a handful EF lenses, because they keep delivering on both my 1DX II and my RF bodies.

Big difference between 14mm and 16mm.

Don't know if 14mm would be enough, but might be able to get an EF 14mm for a reasonable price.

I had the same thought I would hate to get a 14mm and find its still not enough.

Makes me consider the RF 10-20mm. I know I could get the EF 11-24 for about $500-$700 less but the size and weight savings of the RF 10-20 makes me think its worth spending $2k on vs. $1500 for the EF version.

Maybe the RF 10-20mm will be on a refurbished sale and I can get it cheaper around black Friday.

I just added to my EF collection yesterday! Went to my LCS and came home with a mint EF 28mm f2.8 IS. The prices on EF lenses lately have been too good to say no!

Had to look that up Jim!
Never heard of that name before. A "neat" looking body and the lenses look like a front lens cap!

Can't wait to see the image it produces!!
Hope all is well in Bawlamer!

The actual camera is a medium format. The lens is plastic, has light leaks, limited aperture and I think one shutter speed (1/100) They do make for interesting, artistic images. The lens itself was only $13.99 on Amazon. You can't get a pizza delivered for that little bit of money

Just bought the 16-35/4Lis to pair with the 70-200/4Lisii I bought a while back.

The beauty of EF is that I can swap it between different mounts and not just canon either.

I slapped the M10 on the 300/4Lis, a surreal experience for sure.

Crazy !!

Dan, do you use a tripod when you use the 5DSR?

No I do not! Do you see a problem Jim? Let me know if you do.

I DO have "hand tremors". I use "IS" in all my Canon EF lenses and IBIS and OIS in my Fuji.

I "believe" that has reduced my unsharp images greatly BUT that doesn't mean they are not sharp to another's eye.

So if you see unsharp images, PLEASE let me know!
Thanks Jim!
Dan
