So, it is pouring out rain outside, but I managed to make some photographs around the house today with one of Canon's finest cameras and some of my favorite EF lenses. Just for fun.
Yes, I like EF ugly ducklings like the 28 f/1.8; they are way better than people give them credit for being. (Just never shoot that particular lens wider than f/2.)

Late to the thread, but almost exclusively EF lenses on my RF bodies.
I've only picked up a few small "affordable" RF lenses, the working lenses are all EF mount and I've saved tens of thousands keeping it that way.
Looking back on it, I kind of wish I had done the same as you.
I actually still have all of my EF glass, which I have held onto even after purchasing nearly all the same focal lengths in RF mount. (Apparently I have more money than sense, haha.)
I remember when I got my original R6 body, my intent at the time was simply to use it with an adapter permanently mounted to it. All my EF lenses worked as well or better than before, and I now had IBIS. What's not to love?
But I guess between FOMO and GAS, I ended up spending a bunch on RF lenses anyway. With a couple of exceptions, I can't say any of them have improved my photography though. EF lenses still get the job done.

I still have an original 1 DsMKII.
I still have the OG 1Ds:
1Ds, 15/2.8 fisheye. We sure looked younger in those days. My motley EF collection is the 15/2.8, 28/2.8, 35/2. 50/1.4, TS-E 135/4L. Only the latter gets any use. The 1Ds needs a working battery, probably unobtainable.

The 1D batteries up to 1D2N contain industrial NiMH AA cells inside, and if you open such battery carefully, they can be replaced with current AA industrial eneloops and then they hold on forever. Been there, done that, even totally amateurish on my side, as I used normal consumer AA eneloops and they almost didn't fit. All I really needed as a speciality was a special soldering liquid so that solder caught on the stainless steel.

You have three of Canon's original "Arc Form Drive" lenses from the early days of EF.
Lens trivia:
The 15mm fish and the 28mm f/2.8 were part of the launch lineup introduced in 1987. Believe it or not, the 35mm f/2.0 was not released until three years later, in 1990, which reveals the relative popularity of 28mm vs. 35mm focal lengths back then.
For years I used the 35 f/2.0 and 24 f/2.8 AFD lenses and also had the 50 f/2.5 CM for a time.
Amazingly, Canon did not replace the 24, 28, or 35mm lenses until 2012, with the IS models. These (finally) had vastly better corner performance at wide apertures and also gained USM focusing.
AFD was buzzy and not too swift. I got this lens set to go with my D30 so didn't see the FF corners for some years. The 35/2 was quite alright performance-wise.

Yeah, for sure.
I loved the design of the early non-L USM primes which had FTM focusing (20 2.8, 28 1.8, 50 1.4, 85 1.8, 100 f/2) and owned them all at one time or another.
Unfortunately, 35mm was my favorite focal wide-normal length on full frame (vs. 28mm), so I put up with the 35 f/2 and its buzzy motor for a long time, haha. I did make some good pictures with it though.
That's all I have are EF lenses.
28mm F1.8, 50mm F1.4, 85mm F1.8, 100mm F2.8 Macro USM, 17-40L, 24-105L, 70-200 F2.8L Non IS.
And a Sigma 15mm F2.8 and 120-300 F2.8
I still use 1Dx and 1DxII bodies and the R3. I just keep a lens adapter on the R3, everything works great
I sold most of my EF lenses when I switched to R series cameras. But I still own the EF 100-400 4.5-5.6L IS USM II and, just as long as I can still hoist it, I'll keep shooting with it. It's my fav lens for landscapes but does well for small critters and quasi-macro.

I had a couple of EF lenses in use again recently shooting a cyclekart event. Using the 70-200/2.8 and the 24-70/2.8. Lenses were used on my old 7D MKII and the new R5 MKII.
