These are beautiful! Nice work on all of these. One of these years I'll make it out there for spring migration. We get most of those warblers moving through here, but never in those concentrations, and usually hopping around behind leaves 50 feet up in the trees!
Dave
Some days they stay up higher but this day they were ready to be hand fed There are a few more areas right near by to enjoy as well so certainly worth the trip. Thanks much for the kind words

You got some great "active" poses out of these little guys that show their personality while perched, yet appear to be on the move just the same, nice work Karl!
PS: I also note you are getting some great output out of the RIII... I am guessing you are more inclined to enjoy the low noise floor over the extra pixels? Either way, hard to argue with the results.
Eric
Hello buddy. Yes they have personality for sure and it is fun to catch those poses. It is quite entertaining to sit back and watch everyone around you trying to track, spot and photograph them
The RIII files are wonderful, just the body lacks bird-eye-AF and is slower to acquire focus. I sold the RV, not sure what comes in the stable next?
Take care, thanks!

Wow Karl these are really nice. You got a bunch of my favorites. I love the Canada’s warbler, I haven’t seen one this year yet. Well done.
Dave
I don't believe I have the Canada Warbler either from previous years Dave. Certainly a beauty! Thank you

Great set of images, Karl. The vegetation makes it harder to spot and photograph these little birds, but it also adds beautiful colours and soft light to the shots. I really enjoy Warbler season, even though I only got out a few times this year.
Ohio is weather unpredictable, the vegetation grew in much faster than I thought it would have. Every year is different here for me.Thanks much.

I do love the challenges and the rewarding colors and capture of character John Appreciate the vote and the visit and kind words buddy.

These are the best set of warbler photos I have ever seen. Excellent work with an extremely difficult subject to see with binoculars much less photograph! Bob

These are fabulous! Having been on that boardwalk I know the conditions you faced trying to find and focus on those little bullets. Great job, Karl.
Sue
Did you make it this year? Thanks Sue would have said hello
