I just went out in the back yard for an example with the Sirui that I just received...Sharpness a hair below the 50mm 1.4GM, but I'm very pleased with the performance at F1.4. (Quick edit and crop below)

So from what I have read, this lens is designed similar to their cine lenses where rendering is prioritized more than sharpness. In my experience, though, it is plenty sharp.
