I don't know the story if there is one. It is just at the border to private residence/acreage. The sign has been there since I started going to this location.

Just got back from my first trip to Costa Rica.....besides being a newbie to birds, etc. I was still astounded at the sheer amount of wildlife there! Don't even know where to start....

I was very fortunate to come across an actively hunting Long-eared owl during mid-morning today. These owls are usually nocturnal hunters so to see one during the day was an amazing experience.
