A couple from a walk, a common house finch, and a wayward Brant (not a normal bird for the high desert). The 400/800 is really a great lens and has become my favorite.

Very nice, Dave. How are you liking the A7V?
A few from today.
I've only had it for a couple of days.
My first time out I shot raw, can't open the files to process them.
Today, I shot raw and jpg, but I didn't find the owls I was hoping to find.
This next week, we're going into the deep freeze, so I'm not sure if I'll be getting out.
Today, with the limited time I was out, it seemed to do what it should.
The focusing was good, the jpg's looked good out of camera.
I didn't have a need to use the pre capture, and I think I need to change a few of the buttons.
All in all, I'll probably use this camera more than my a1, and as much as the a9III.
