Great set! We have mountain lions around where I live, but getting pictures of them is difficult; I got close, too close to one when searching for my missing dog (her remains were between the lion's paws), but was more concerned about backing away slowly & not alarming the cat.

thanks so much Bruce, for taking the time to view and comment. Indeed when the puma started charging towards us, I was super delighted though not completed ready since I had my shutter speed only at 1/1000
I would be delighted if we can shoot together sometime in future.

Yes indeed the pumas in North America and some parts of South America behave differently. Glad you were able to get out of a confrontation safely.
