I actually got a box of my dad's old slide film that I digitized for him. I haven't posted them online or anything. I'll have to keep this thread in mind when I make a small selection to post.
Lots of stuff from the late 60/70/80/early 90's.
Three experiences captured in these two photos from 1998 are no longer possible today: flying on the Concorde, visiting the cockpit mid-flight or during takeoff and landing, and enjoying the view from the World Trade Center.

Is that the Bellagio constuction site? On a trip to Las Vegas we stayed a a dumper motel that prided itself on being the last family owned motel on the strip. It was next to the Bellagio construction site and I remember the massive pumps that were waiting for installation.
On our next trip, the motel was gone. It was torn down so they could put in the sign for Bellagio.
It’s a funny thing, when I look at an old photo I can’t remember when it was taken, but I generally recognize the camera or lens. If my memory is correct and this was during my Leica R days, then it was 2000-2007-ish (pretty much my “last stand” with film). I think it was construction on the Caesar Palace property. I am probably standing on W. Flamingo Road. This is probably the Augustus Tower, which was completed 2005.
