I just got back from a two week trip through three different regions in Kenya. We had an incredible group of photographers we had an absolute blast. We truly saw it all - vistas, tusker elephants, massive rhino, all of the big cats and some wild predator action. We were in Amboseli, Ol Pejeta and throughout the Mara Conservancies.
I shot over 22,000 photos so here's a short taste as I'm not planning to post everything here as there were just too many opportunities! All in all, I shot nearly everything with the Sony Alpha 1 but some of the time I was using a modified A7iii for infrared. Sony allowed me to take the newly announced 300mm F2.8 GM. It's an incredibly nimble lens and it packs a punch. I really can't recommend it enough.
Incredible images! I'm at a loss for words that can describe how much I love every one of these shots. What a fantastic trip. Congrats and thanks for sharing your work.

Thanks Greg! I'm sure I'll find another set the share at some point but it truly was a trip that kept producing each day!

Breathtaking, each and every one. That hyena shot is something else, and I agree that no. 1 is at another level with Kilimanjaro in the background.

That hyena scene was pretty wild. The whole thing was over in 30 minutes from take down to evaporated. I'm going to make a very large print of that first photo!
Now, THIS is what photography is all about! Impressive set of images to say the least. The first one I even said in a whisper while sitting alone "what a f*cking shot"!

Awesome images....Thanks for sharing. Feel free to share more pictures as you have time.
I definitely will. I've got more tuskers worth a look and many more cheetah, leopard, lion images worth a view as well!

Appreciate it! I'm definitely going to make a large print of that one. I'm just trying figure out what size. I'd like to go 40x60 but that might be a tad too large for the room!
Fantastic set! Makes me want to go back with my modern camera and lens, but I'll never talk my wife into it. I did a self-guided safari in the Masai Mara back in the 80s and loved it.
