The question to me being what an “ accelerated FX frame 24.5 Megapixels BSI CMOS Sensor “ is?
What is the read out speed compared to an a7V or R6II for example, as a result in what circumstances will it allow the use of the electronic shutter,…?
If it does have the EVF experience of the Z8 at 2,500 US$ that will be very appealing to the many remaining D750 users and to the general market. I still prefer the EVF of the Z8/Z9 over that of the a9III out of the box (need to see whether I can improve it through settings fine tuning).
If Nikon was able to extract even better AF performance from the Expeed 7 that will also be great news for Z8/Z9 users as we can expect these to come through firmware updates as well.
Z8 form factor body - If that means Z6 size but with a 10 pin accessory adapter and round eyepiece... Great. If it means substantially increased weight and size I will probably just buy a used Z8 for not a ton more money. I bought the Z6 early because of the smaller body and wide lens size than my D800. It would be a disappointment if they substantially increase either.
Multi angle LCD - I read that to be a Z8 style LCD rather than a swivel. That would be welcome.
Better EVF - great
Everyrgibg else - don't care
Definitely not putting in a pre order, particularly since I have around $2k of points rotting in my Best Buy account and if buying new will go through BB.
If you ignore all the poorly translated descriptive text that says things like "stronger than a Z8" and "fine shutter angle" etc, the raw numerical specs don't look like anything special at all - I think that would be very doable. Probably the Z6II/ZF sensor with optimizations for better readout speed (maybe around 1/60-1/80 scan speed, at the high end of non-stacked FF sensors), 40fps would be matching what the Canon R6II already can do. Video specs aren't unreasonable and are a step up from the current competition. I wouldn't be surprised if Nikon found a way to improve the non-stacked EVF experience, or just used the Z8 EVF without the 120Hz refresh rate.
The video specs look amazing. For this reason we can expect a bump in weight and size to deal with the heat. But an SD card slot - why!? Move on already.

Wait, did they remove the CFexpress?! Is it just "an SD card slot"?

It will be very interesting to hear about your experiences with this intriguing new camera.
I’ll need time, it’s a complex machine and I haven’t owned Sony bodies for 2.5 years so I need to remember many things. And although I read Japanese well it’s still more time consuming than English.
Initial feeling for eye people AF vs Z8/Z9 on slowly moving subjects partially obstructed is that the Nikons seem ahead both in ability to find the eyes and to focus on the pupil consistently (tested with the respective 50mm f1.2 native lenses) but it’s too early to know for sure.
If the Z6III has the guts of the Z F, in the Z6II body that you can hold on to, with a CFExpress B and a SD UHS-II, instead of SD plus micro SD, it will be good enough...

I doubt Nikon will do that to the Z6 users, putting in a MicroSD. In fact, they can't since the Z6 is more video focused and with the specs they want to put in, a MicroSD is impossible. The write/read speeds aren't there to justify it
