I need 36 people for this to work. And it is just for fun. I'll take one of my film P&S cameras, load a 36exp roll and take one photo. Then send the camera to the second person on the list. Who will take one photo then send it on to the third person etc.
Number 36 will then send it back to me, I'll develop and scan and post all 36 here.
No theme, the pic can be of anything, but you can only take one pic and it has to be within a day or so of you getting the camera. So we can wrap this up sort of quickly. Maybe within 2 months if we get lucky.

Anyone interested? Shipping the camera to the next destination would be on you.

But we're not a bunch of hacks needing 36 attempts each! No sirreee, we just need one to capture that glorious whatever.

p.s. the camera will most prob be my Pentax 90WR. I don't trust you lot with anything fancier.. And this is open to anyone on FM with at least some posting history. Does not matter if you are a digital shooter etc.

EDIT - eephoto dropped so is not on this project. 35 people. Will add a 36th when it comes back to California.

It seems very likely that something will go wrong when the film is taken out of the camera before it is finished fully. The film has to be rewound hopefully without the lever to be inside the cartridge (yes, there are ways to get it out again but this causes many other error potentials). Tricky also for the next person who inserts this film to move the film forward again to the frame to expose - very likely overlaps with existing frames happen or too much space between frames remains unused.

If you don't get 33 more, we can always modify to do a couple of images each. That might shorten the project as well.

Wait, what? I am sending a camera with one roll of film that everyone just gets to take one photo.
No rewinding/reloading. Once all 36 are shot, camera w film inside is sent back to me.

Perhaps the rule of the game should be, take a picture but don't advance the film. Let the next shooter advance the film for his/her shot. That might help minimize accidental shutter press when packing or while in transit.

State corrected - didn't read that it included the camera itself. In this case of course there are no winding issues to get to a specific frame.

It's a P&S so is automatically advances. I'm not worried about the camera turning on accidentally, I don't see how that could happen. All the recipient has to do is turn on the camera, take a pic, turn off, pack and send to next person.
If we as a group mess up something this simple, well, I dunno mate.
