Lovely shot. I haven't yet used my 135mm but I am off to SA on Weds for a couple of months, where I plan to finally put it to some good use!
Thanks Robert. Looking forward to see your pictures from your trip.

This lens has some serious nice rendering. With a look similar to the Sony STF & Canon DS, both the fore- and background are not distracting at any distance so far. Thank you all for sharing. Waiting for a Plena 105 or 58 to make the jump. Meanwhile, I'll make do with my lowly GMs

Tnx. I wouldn't pull the trigger but it ended up costing C$500 less than MSRP+tax here in Canada. Life is short - my son will be a toddler / child only once.
I always laugh at '3d pop' claims - but this lens does have it.

Was that a Nikon / dealer deal Luke?
No - it was here on B&S, brand new lens from B&H - $2200USD all in (which after conversion ends up costing ~$500CAD less than a new one here in Canada). I'm sure Nikon will put this on sale sooner or later - but I'm happy to have it now.

Heading to Hong Kong and Thailand later this month and can’t wait to use this extensively during the vacation…have already fallen in love with it even with my limited use of this lens so far

I have the oddest feeling that the bokeh in that last image would have more cat eyes in it than a Japanese cat cafe if it was shot on the GM. That's some excellent bokeh. suteetat wrote:
ิbokeh ball galore. A bit too difficult to use in a crowd though. May be if it is 85mm rather than 135mm, it would be even more amazing

85 is indeed a bit easier indoors. And, if you don't mind the lost pixelcount, the shots that work with 135-ish angle of view, the 85 cropped to an 135 angle of view should be quite good also @1.2, more center frame, bokeh-wise...
