A set of images from a recent trip to the Cathedral Saint-Pierre de Rennes.
All taken with my Z8 and 24-120mm lens. I used different focal lengths and what amazed me the most was that the last photo in the series was taken at ISO 9000.
Love the detail shot above. I always look for the small detail shots when I am shooting a larger more imposing subject structure. I find that when I see the grand buildings I want to see all the small accent bits that go into the buildings that make them unique.

Thank you, I love to find the craftsmanship put into the small details and am so impressed with what we can do today to capture these kind of images, this was at ISO 9000
Thank you @newyork. I love this shot. A minute before this photo was taken the sun was blocked by clouds and it was pretty dreary. This shot has been taken thousands of times by others so it is not unique but I like the lighting and the color of the sea. I'll be printing this and it will be on one of our walls at the house.

Monterey Bay Sea Kayak - Went out about a mile and a half. Tough shooting with the camera in a dry bag by my feet and having to undo my water skirt each time for a shot, not to mention the three foot swells. Had some awesome whale sightings but was not going to have the reach for anything worthwhile. Otters, sea lions and harbor seals were a lot more accommodating.
Z8 with Nikon 14-30/4 with Nauticam housing and 230mm dome port.
PS I was trying to post these images in 14-30/4 image thread but searching
function did not return the thread when I search 14-30, 14, 14-30/4. 50/1.2S thread also
seems to disappear and I could not locate it with search function.

Great images. 14-30S thread seems to have been archived due to inactivity. The link is in the Nikon Image Threads button.

All are great, but especially love the first one of the diver. I'm about to start my certification with my son. So looking forward to doing some underwater.
When we were vacationing around Monterey Bay this past week I gave me camera to my daughter on a few occasions and let her capture her vision of the world. Love what her little 12 year old eyes see.
z8 with mainly the 26 but a few with 24-120. Dad did some editing.
