Used it on an M3 which has 50mm frame lines as the widest. No sign that he used an aux 28mm finder. Three pics attached which I guess were taken with his Z6. So the review of an M mount lens is from three shots on a Nikon.
No mention of field curvature or the strong barrel disttortion.
This is why we come to FM and Bastian/Reeve for our lens reports!

I know, right? I saw that and didn’t read them and moved on.
None of the commenters used the lens. If they had, they would have noticed that the front element is super exposed and as the reviewer mentioned, he kept on touching it. And that happens because you need to get your fingers in that area to change the aperture.

It just arrived! Wow is it slim on the M11. I like that making adjustments will actually slow me down. Controls are easy but I probably won't adjust while looking through the viewfinder. Images look decent although I need to shoot this more. Corners are definitely soft and there is distortion, all giving the lens some character.
For distortion, initially it seems like +8 is a good starting point. Not sure what if any profile to use but would love to hear from others.

I have the close up lens and UV kit mentioned in this thread on its way. For now, it's be careful. So far, I have yet to touch the lens!
The 25.5mm lens hood from the Pentax Auto 110 works great. And it is collapsible.

I just received the close up filters, the Pentax S16 and S31. I'm amazed at how well they work in some initial test shots. Below are three images. All are taken at minimum focus distance with the Brightin Star 28/2.8. The first with no filter (please ignore my hand in the image). The second with the S31 filter and the third with both filters stacked. Pretty amazing and very useful.
