I found them in a field on the other side of a chain link fence. They seemed to know that they were secure there and kept an eye on me but didn't run.

Thanks Dave. Yeah, I thought this was a pretty unique opportunity. They seemed to have claimed this spot and were just hanging out in the corner of a huge piece of property that belonged to a school. They were in now way fenced in but I saw them there on numerous occasions driving by and 2 of the 3 times I walked down there. It's very rare for me to be able to just shoot at will like this with a wild animal. The property was raised up from street level which gave me a great perspective but I it was also a challenge shooting through the fence.
Gary, you may not get any falcon shots on your last trip to this side of the coast but the coyote images are really outstanding. I love the entire set!
