Nice shot of a role reversal...I saw an Osprey kill a Bald Eagle that got too close to its nest. They are capable raptors but usually give in to the faster eagle.

That's the main reason why I made the move from Canon to Nikon.

I will not do this thread any justice or this amazing lens. But contrary to some comments I've seen some people do buy long lens's for more than birding. Here is the first couple I have been able to look at from this past weekend. I received the lens couple weeks ago. Took it out of the box Friday and shot Saturday morning with it. Oh, just took the z9 out of the box after having it for a year. Stuck it on this lens and handheld walked all day with it. AMAZING combo and funny how fast 5500 images go by before you know it.
I haven't participated in the forums aside form B&S in years. Usually too much drama for me. Anyway if anyone is interested ill post a few more from this amazing lens when I can filter through them all. First time I have been able to pic up a camera in over 4 years because health issues.

Alphonsus - Amazing work… I love birding also. Planning a Saturday outing to see how much the 600 and z9 props me up and makes me look better than I am l😊
