Just one minor point: The Leica Elmar-M 24mm f/3.8 ASPH is, indeed, quite spectacularly good, but, sadly, it is no longer “current.” Leica is not producing 24mm M lenses, at this time.
I only recently discovered this Elmar-M 24mm f/3.8 ASPH lens, finding a pristine pre-owned sample, and was so impressed that I searched for, and found, another one, similarly well-preserved, and bought it, too, as a hedge against mishaps and loss, as the ending production will make future acquisition more difficult. (The only true insurance “policy” is a spare lens.) Plus, now and then, I like to shoot with an M10 and an M Type 246 Monochrom, at the same time, with identical lenses affixed to each. Most you-tubers, and other prominent influencers, had not yet “discovered” the Elmar-M 24mm ASPH, at the time I found mine, so, I did not have to pay collectors’ prices.
I had actually acquired a pre-owned Zeiss 25mm ZM just before I bought my Leica Elmar-M 24mm ASPH lenses, and the latter have occupied my attention to the extent that the Zeiss sits, unused, though every millimeter of focal length, wider than 28mm or so, makes a significant difference, so, I will try to work with the Zeiss, soon.

The ZM has some nice advantages for landscape, like best-in-class flare resistance and nicer light stars, plus it's decently light and small. It can't keep up with the Leicas in resolution, especially mid-to-close focus, but it's hard to tell the difference on a landscape shot at f/5.6 or more.
