Thanks Lance. I can position my kayak at this spot so the sun is rising from behind and then I have the green trees as a backdrop which I underexpose. I always get pretty excited when I see something land on these snags

It's certainly much easier to handle than the Sigma S I was using. But I do miss the zoom already.

The funniest thing is that Manny doesn't seem to want to do anything like this with the A1. It's almost as if the Sony system doesn't have any remotely affordable sports glass.

Thanks. That one was destined for the trash bin because there was a pretty bright log in the background and I thought it was too horribly underexposed. I spent a little time messing with it and now I kinda like it.
