Photos from a gig I was hired to photograph for a local vineyard near Portland. The owners of the vineyard needed to have content as they prepared for an aggressive advertising campaign. For this particular project they wanted to create a couple of live music videos in their main event space, which I have to say was extremely photogenic. My job was to take photos of the artists for the vineyard's social media and website, as well as behind the scenes photos of the entire production and to help the video production team with lighting. It was honestly such a fun gig and we all had a really great time making this happen, and the two performers that we filmed were incredibly talented (the performer's names are "Moorea Masa & The Mood", and "Barna Howard" if you're interested in looking them up). It was also a very pleasant surprise that on top of our pay we were all given several bottles of wine to take home with us, all of which were very tasty.

Well done and I really like the first though all are good and it is a terrific series. The feeling of pure joy in #1is very captivating to me.

Are you using a diffusion filter here or was the light spilling in from the background already like that? Great job controlling exposure either way.

Beautiful warmth in the images and a welcoming feel in the presentation. This how you want to be invited to an winery, great lighting! I like how some of those barrels are sweating wine

Nauticaltiger asked about the diffusion, I saw a 'spray' product to spray into streaming window light? However you did it makes the best bokeh you could ask for IMO, fantastic set.

These are very nice. I visited their website and these are certainly in keeping with the palette of images there. I like the warm, vintage woodsy glow.

Does the baseball cap have anything to do with the winery? If not, it's too bad you couldn't have talked the guitarist out of it. To me, it doesn't fit in with the mood of the rest of the images.

Also, I'm interested in your philosophy of helping out your subjects a little. You captured a great moment with the owners, however she had drawn her head back which emphasized her chin. I don't think that's the way she usually looks, therefore I would have been tempted to do a little retouching on it.

We had a fog machine for atmosphere. IMO it looks much better in moving video than it does in a still image.
