Jim, excellent shots all of them, but for me the first and the last stand out. Can you give me the locations for 1, 3 and 5 (the general vicinity)?
Thanks. They are all in the Milford Sound area. The waterfall requires a scenic cruise and as such, was shot from a boat. The forest scene was right off the road near a bridge that takes you up a river trail. I can't remember which.

It's my current favorite, too. I find most forest scenes challenging to compose, but despite the chaos in this one, I like how it was all arranged.
Jim
That is probably why I like it so much. I have been working on chaos and complexity. With photographs we capture so much detail, that we learn to simplify. Well, the natural world especially woodlands are not simple.
Really nice set. The first and third are my favorites. That whole Fiordland region is among the prettiest places I've ever seen. Unfortunately when I visited about 15 years ago I wasn't yet into photography. These are a good reminder that I need to go back!
