Wonderful set of images. I particularly like the feeling of motion in the second and third shots. Great color in the second, great cloud motion in the third!
Beautiful set as many others have noted. Very nice lighting on the first. Another favorite of mine is the Black and White, although I do see a slight halo on the mountain. All of the photos are unique and very well done, thanks for sharing these.
fantastic impressionistic set. I too favor the first, but hard to pick. My wife and I have long dreamed of a big trip down under, but question whether we'll make it now. Looking at these makes me wish, but also brings me along on a dreamy virtual vacation. Thanks for posting.
Hello Jim. I think of Landscapes as such big vistas and often forget about taking a little slice of it to make something dynamic like that first image and fourth image
A little bigger view and that take me to #3 which is for me is an exceptional image in B&W! Wow, love the drama and peacefulness in it
Great slices of the big world, nicely presented and well seen sir!
Karl
Been eying a solo New Zealand photo/video trip, this is great inspiration to go! Love #1 because I have a lot of woodlands locally too, #3 because it’s a great interpretation of a popular scene, but #4 and #5 and #2 are great too.
This is a stunning series! Gives me goosebumps about adventure.
I am particularly drawn to the last one. While one can tell it is of the bottom of a waterfall, there is a lovely "abstrasct-ness" about it.
Yes - I spent 2 weeks on the South Island in 1994, but did not make it down to Milford Sound. It is a land of great contrasts. I had a job offer at at the university in Dunedin, but had to turn it down. Still rather regret it. Would love to go back some day - now armed with a digital camera instead of my tank of a Nikkormat and Kodachrome 64!
