I had just returned from Camp Spencer, JWC in Panama, FT Huachuca for some NCO Recon training... home for Christmas then off to Nam for 2 years!

Every year there is a Sumo Festival in April at the Yashukuni Shrine in Tokyo where you can sort of rub shoulders with the wrestlers. Here are some from the end of the 60s:
Some time ago, in an older post, I mentioned that as a legacy I was planning to leave behind books of photos rather than burden my family with sites and a pile of photos. I would just park my "six" on a bench at a different location everyday and just SHOOT!!!!!!
I used to do this when I was in NYC Central Park on business and on my lunch break! But never took a camera. No time or maybe too much business on my mind!
