I just received my 100-400 and 2.0 TC yesterday. Below are some tests from this morning. The owl images are very strongly backlit. Sharpness seems acceptable for my uses. However, I think the TC introduces a noticeable amount of fringing. It's correctable, but very noticeable. I using a this combo with a Z6. Focus speed is OK. I think the Z6 AF is more of a hindrance than the lens and TC. I need a lot more practice, but I think this combo is a keeper for my uses. I also have a 1.4x TC coming eventually when they're back in stock.

Let's see if these work. I took off my B+W UV filter for this evening and that seems to fix the issue I had earlier with color fringing. I'll try again tomorrow to make sure if that was the culprit.

Nope. I suspect they aren’t public on your smug mug.

I don’t miss having to take my 1.4x and 2x TC’s on and off the 70-200, loving the simplicity and ease of this focal range in one lens (and optically much better than the F mount 80-400 I tried last year). #’s 3, 4, 5, 9 are from the 100-400mm in this current FM post: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1751016
