Sorry to see you are so insecure about your purchase.
Serious question... if you're shooting raw, do the camera's colors matter anyway? Short of using the camera matching color profiles? I load everything into LR as Nikon's Camera Standard and keep it that way but I know a lot of folks edit in the default Adobe color profiles.
Maybe the wrong thread for this, but something I've always wondered.

Definitely the wrong thread but I will answer you anyway as you asked me a specific question. Mostly, color can be adjusted to suit how you like it. The lenses are what make more of a difference, IMO. Things like ARNEO coatings, Fluorine coatings and individual elements etc make up how a photo looks moreso than colors which can be adjusted.

Thanks, very interesting. I'll shut up now and keep it on topic.

Excellent question, and one which would be great in its own thread.
From my understanding, particularly with my experience using Fuji cameras, RAW files are manipulated by the camera software.
However, from my experience using custom X-Rite profiles, I can get the processed colours of RAW files from Nikon, Olympus, and Fuji, to be so close it is hard to tell which camera they came from.

Funny. As a person who also own GFX100 along with Nikon, I always find Fuji default color is horrible. Way too much black that detail in the shadow got lost and require a lot more post processing to bring back those detail in comparison to Nikon. Great file quality but color is not its best feature and since this is all subjective and based on personal preference, your opinion is pretty irrerevant.
Also this is a thread about 100-400 lens, who cares if you like Fuji color better.
so happy, im googled that normal for 50r- it's the physical orientation sensor in the camera that tells it which way is up for portrait and landscape

So Dr Google confirmed rattles and soft images are normal when using the GFX-50R with GF45, GF50, and GF63 lenses. I'm happy for you that you have it sorted.
This thread is about the Nikkor Z 100-400mm lens, and so far, regardless which body it is being used on, the images are lovely and sharp!

Wanted to get out back and try the 100-400 with the TC-2.0x so here's a selection from this morning. Can't believe it's that fast and sharp at f11 on a zoom lens!
