p.2 #5 · Z9 a near failure, according to Ken Wheeler
Seems to me that perhaps what this guy is angry about is the fact that all his Nikon F mount lenses are becoming obsolete right before his eyes and so he has no interest in the Z system actually succeeding.
He also really needs to take a look at the Ricci and Grainger reviews. He just might learn something.

He's a talentless hack that has had a bug up his ass for anything Nikon related barring the D850 and D500. That's it. Anything else has been an epic failure to him. Meanwhile the guy can't expose an image for shit yet claims to have shot events. He has no portofolio whatsoever to speak of and has stolen images from a few people. Who hires him and how do they hire him. He's one of the the legit disgraces to the photography community. Yet he's got an audience. He's got lemmings following him thinking he's an authority. I hate seeing his crap pop up from time to time on Facebook groups. Jay968 wrote:

Ken Wheeler couldn't even shoot his own ass with a selfie stick. That guy went full Fuji schill the moment he got a GFX and can't even shoot to save his life with it. white wrote:
Ken Wheeler is simply not worth watching let alone devoting a whole thread to what he says.
The funny thing, I thought he hated Sony and loved everything Nikon.

I dont listen to the Monkey. But the one video I watched said there was no optical low pass filter (AA Filter) and judging from the images I have seen I can not see the softness usually associated with an OLPF (AA Filter)
I think this was the video I saw it in. I looked back and it is in this video at the 14:07 mark
Thank you for this one Eric. I watched it from beginning to end. Just dropped Ricci a comment. He explains so much, and at a level that I can understand. I asked him what is meant by recording video internally vs externally.

Do you know?
Looking forward to his video of Zed 9 videography
You're welcome. I thought it was a great video so I had to post it.
I have a Nikon DSLR (D500) and I don't shoot any video lol. No one shoots video with a Nikon DSLR So, I have no clue other then maybe to connect an external device through the HDMI port.

Do not given air to oxygen thieves, it is a precious resource. Now where is Sony Northrup.
The Northrups seem to have fallen out of respect in the industry. Certainly where Nikon is concerned. Since the release of the Z9 they have posted 2 videos. I didn't watch either, but the first seems to be about how hard a time Mrs. Northrup has being a photographer with ADHD, the second something about photographing Ghosts!
I guess you do weird videos when denied access to the important new camera equipment that is being released into the market.
