Is OM System planning on doubling the price of this lens or is this some weird backend thing?
On the Canadian site, their price is doubled as well to "Starting at CA$19,999.98" (vs. the original $9,999.99); thus this is not a one-off typo on the US site.
I checked Camera Canada - their website indicates that the lens is in stock, and still offered for CA $9,999.99.
https://www.cameracanada.com/products/productDetail.aspx?pid=V335300BW000
It would be insane to double the price to CA$19,999.98 if this is actually coming. Even the most expensive Sony 600mm F4 GM lens costs "only" $16,898.

Phew. It's back to the normal price and is in stock on the US site, so that's reassuring to know they haven't completely lost their minds.

I’ll add a resounding +1 to that. Whether it’s nature, portraiture, or landscapes, Ronny’s work typically stands out above the rest!

300 is a great lens
sure sometimes I miss the zoom on a prime
wish the 150-400 was a bit cheaper also used
however, it is not very common for them to appear on the used market here in Sweden
