Interesting, inspirational woodland scene. Is this in Italy ? With the exception of the deeply fissured bark on that large birch, it looks much like species here in North America. And that fern looks just like Bracken Fern here too.

The pictures of mushrooms and green lizard (Lacerta bilineata) I posted above were taken in the same place.
I visit Caldara di Manziana at least three or four times in autumn to photograph mushrooms and foliage.
